Free Resources Terms

Plain-language summary. Our free guides, paths, tools, and downloads are general educational information from an experienced Florida nurse registry operator. They are not legal, tax, accounting, or other professional advice. Florida laws and AHCA requirements change, so verify what applies to you and have your own attorney and accountant review your decisions and documents.
These terms are between Nurse Registry Consultant, LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("we," "us"), and you. They apply when you sign up for or use any free resource on nurseregistryconsultant.com, including the Companion Startup Path, free guides, downloadable PDFs, the report helper, and the AHCA citation summaries. Our Terms of Service also apply. If they conflict, these terms control for free resources.
1. Educational information only
Free resources are general educational information about Florida regulations and business practices, based on publicly available statutes, rules, and agency guidance and on our own operating experience. They are not legal, tax, accounting, insurance, employment, or regulatory advice, and they are not a substitute for advice from a licensed professional who knows your situation. Using a free resource does not create an attorney-client, consulting, or other professional relationship.
2. Verify before you rely on it
Statutes, rules, AHCA forms, fees, and agency practices change. We review our free resources periodically, but we do not guarantee they are complete, current, or right for your situation. Before you act, confirm the current requirements with AHCA and the official statutes and rules, and have your own attorney and accountant review your decisions. That is especially important for business structure and for whether workers are employees or independent contractors.
3. Sample documents and downloads
Downloadable documents are provided as branded PDF samples. They are a starting point, not finished documents for your business. You are responsible for adapting them to your operations and having them reviewed before use. You may use them for the internal operations of your own business. You may not sell, republish, or distribute them, or remove our branding. You are welcome to share links to our pages.
4. Reporting tools
We are not a government agency and are not affiliated with AHCA, the Florida Department of Health, or the Department of Children and Families. We do not file reports on your behalf. The report helper runs in your browser; what you type into it is not sent to us. You are responsible for the accuracy of anything you report. Report only facts you know or reasonably believe to be true.
5. AHCA citation summaries
Our citation summaries are compiled from AHCA's public records. They may be incomplete or out of date. Providers can contest findings, and cited deficiencies may have been corrected. A citation summary is not an accusation or endorsement of any provider. See AHCA's records for details.
6. No guarantee
Free resources are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee registration, licensure, survey results, the outcome of any report, or any business result.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nurse Registry Consultant, LLC, and Scott Strachan are not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, free resources.
8. Your information
When you sign up, we use the information you provide to give you access, to send you the resources you asked for, and to send occasional emails about related resources and services. You can unsubscribe at any time. See our Privacy Policy.
9. Agreement
When you check the agreement box and submit a sign-up form, you agree to these terms. We keep a record of your sign-up, including the date and time. These terms are governed by Florida law.
